French Contruction Mortgages

French Construction & Land Loans made easy for you as these mortgages can be deferred up to 3 years andfrench construction finance all you have to pay during that period is your life insurance.

Unlike UK construction mortgages, once the property has been built, you do not need to re-apply for a terminate mortgage as this is a two in one mortgage.

IMPORTANT

When considering a construction Mortgage it is advisable that you employ a qualified project manager to deal with the building work, then the lender will release the funds through them on stage payments ensuring correct procedures are followed.

For those who are considering building or renovating their own home, its important that you understand the possibility that none of your work is considered legal and the property could become NON CONFORMATIVE which means that for anyone considering buying the property you will have to pay to get a company with the correct insurance policies to comply with there regulations (even after it is sold), which will become extremely expensive. This is FRANCE, not the UK.

This is the same with Insurance Companies as if you have a building that is NON CONFORMATIVE, any claim will be refused

No Mortgage Lender in France will give a construction mortgages to people wishing to do the work themselves unless they have the French Insurance Policies and are Regulated in FRANCE.

FACILITIES

  • 100% of the construction will be paid.
  • Payments are made on Draw down
  • This can be deferred up to 3 years
  • Once completed to your satisfaction, you will then start paying your mortgage

Land Loans

We can also arrange Land Loan mortgages up to 85% LTV plus 100% of the construction

Please note that Life Insurance is compulsory with all lenders in France who have a French panel of Life Insurance Policies that they will accept which should be done in the UK beforehand to protect the home and your family
